WINTER

Winter has me thinking of baking and using my oven during the cooler months. My boys and I love getting out the rolling pin and using my Grandma’s recipe to make cutout cookies for the holidays and giving them to our neighbors

Butter Cookes

  • WET: Cream 1 cup of butter with 1 1/2 cups of confectioner’s sugar and then add 1 eggs and a teaspoon of vanilla

  • DRY: in a separate bowl add 2 1/2 cups of flour, 1 tsp baking soda, 1 tsp cream of tartar and 1/4 tsp of salt

  • incorporate all ingredients and roll into a disc to refrigerate for 30 mins - overnight.

  • LEt dough come to room temperature, roll out on a floured surface and begin using a cookie cutter to create shapes. Place on a cookie sheet in a 350 degree oven and bake for 8-10 minutes

  • Cool and decorate

Getting ready for the Spring Market….

Whether you are buying or selling there is plenty to do to prepare.

Buying: Start researching an area and type of that is ideal, and think how you’ll “live” in that home and what is on the “must Have” list

LISTING: Begin to de-clutter and de-personalize your home, for a blank canvas for the future owner to imagine living in the space.
